Lisa joined WJ&L’s corporate practice in 2008, bringing with her a unique background and approach to the practice of business law, and a diverse client base. Lisa acts as outside “general counsel” for many clients, handling most of their legal matters and is considered an integral part of their team, handling everything from contracts to collection matters, and supervising litigation. She is an experienced business lawyer and handles business sales/purchases, employment matters (including employment agreements, separation agreements, employee manuals), complex commercial leasing, franchising, and the growing area of intellectual property. Lisa’s clients range from solid waste haulers to software developers. She is also the attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment in River Edge, and the Rent Leveling Board in New Milford.
Lisa teaches organization and sale of small businesses for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE), and has lectured for numerous business and professional associations including the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, the Association of Women Business Owners and New York Eye and Ear Hospital.
Before becoming a lawyer, Lisa was a consultant in the sports and entertainment field and managed the film archive for Major League Baseball.
